Design Philosophy

example of Sallys work

Sally calls herself a dream maker. By that she means she takes what her clients tell her about their wants and desires, likes and dislikes, and pulls it together into a cohesive whole. As she has often said—“You spend 12–to–16 hours a day in your home, you should feel like it’s the only place you want to be!”

She has an uncanny sense for color. She carefully listens and observes when talking to clients about color in their current environments. From what she learns, she is able to deliver to clients a palette that always pleases.

She has a passion for introducing her clients to original artwork and starting them on their own art collections. Her sense is that “there are so many talented regional artists in the Triangle area, it’s a shame to let this resource go to waste!” She feels that original art—that clients choose—puts the final finishing touch on a truly unique environment.

Her corporate management experience has taught her that scheduling, budgeting and execution are as important as the design elements when implementing a project. Her clients appreciate her being on target and on budget with their projects.
