What We Did: Furnishings, Paint, Lighting, Artwork, Area Rugs, Window Treatments, Décor
We treat neutrals like colors-not defaults. We designed the palette of warm and cool neutrals to wrap our client in a sense of calming comfort, while still feeling fresh and modern.
We added pops of yellow in the living room and hints of orange and aqua in the
sunroom to enliven the spaces and create visual interest.
The Color Palettes
•Entry / Living Room: Grays, cream, yellow, warm wood tones
•Primary Suite: Pale gray, blue gray, brass, warm woods
•Sunroom: Cream, pale gray, warm gray, black and white photography, hints of orange and aqua
This Project’s “Don’t Miss” Details
•The foyer’s trio of pendant lights and the simply decorated table
•The living room’s bold, colorful rug, acacia wood coffee table, and wall display of custom Doug Frates glass art
•The richly stained custom wall unit and shelves over the fireplace that provide media storage, as well as display space for the finds our client brings home from her many travels
•The heavenly primary bedroom’s eye catching embellished armoire and lit tray ceiling detail
•The blue gray floral window treatments softening the sunroom’s angles and framing the natural view
•The sunroom’s wall collage of one-of-a-kind original photography by our client’s late husband-many of them with their original matting
