This backyard Shed has been transformed into a dreamy retreat, curated with personal and unique finds that keep you in the present, yet transport you into the past. Hanging prominently on the back wall is a commissioned piece of art by Angela Marie Art showcasing the phrase, “why limit Happy to an hour,” whimsically defining the atmosphere of the space. Bright pink neon signs bring on the glam. One sign reminds you of the beverage options, while the other encourages you to “Live Colorfully”. No apologies–there will be no gardening or crafting here! Step inside, grab a seat, and a glass of wine, brew or other mélange.
A comfy wing chair awaits, as well as a luxurious throw to envelope should you choose to settle in for a good read. A bobbing, white origami bird lamp provides light over your shoulder. Twinkly lights, woven among the faux greenery panels covering the ceiling, create the perfect relaxing ambience.Fuel for She Shed dreaming, a world map is framed and boasting upcoming destinations. The walls are covered with images of specific travel spots as well as snapshots of all your teen idols and favorite TV Shows or musical artists from back in the day.
But perhaps you would like to have a few friends join you for an evening of fun and games? Remember–what happens in the She Shed, stays in the She Shed! ... Or not! How about some selfies? A multi-colored wall area is framed in living moss and devoted to your photo op enjoyment. Pick a colorful boa and a hashtag sign and go for it!
