JLHP Showhouse

What We Did: Furnishings, Paint, Lighting, Artwork, Décor

We jump at the chance to give back in meaningful ways, as was the case for this showhouse for the Junior League of High Point, which benefited causes in the High Point, NC community. We redesigned the backyard shed at the home, a Craftsman style house originally built in 1913, as a dreamy “she shed” retreat and a fun girls’ night in gathering space.

The Color Palettes

Vibrant blues, pinks, greens, and reds with opulent gold and brass accents

This Project’s “Don’t Miss” Details

The focal point-a large, graffiti-inspired commissioned piece by Angela Marie Art-clearly reveals the space’s intention (no quiet gardening or crafting activities for this she shed!)

The pair of bright pink neon signs flanking the window

The framed vintage cocktail-themed wallpaper above and below with equally-intriguing moss art piece

The fanciful, swirly twirly carved wood peacock perched beside the comfy wing chair upholstered in queenly gold fabric and the bobbing white origami bird lamp just behind the chair

The twinkle lights and faux greenery panels covering the ceiling

The framed world map boasting upcoming dream destinations

The framed snapshots of teen idols and favorite pop culture figures from back in the day covering the walls

The custom walnut etagere by Kamiya Furniture

The colorful feather boa and hashtag signs at the ready for impromptu selfies (so much for “what happens in the she shed stays in the she shed!”)
